Training & Conditioning Information
We offer horse training in a simplistic manner.

Condition the mind and the body.
Listen to the horse; try to find the horse's
perspective and build a path of
communication, never underestimating how
sensitive the horse is.
Make the right things easy and the wrong
ones difficult. Study the feet and work from the
inside out to accomplish willingness,
suppleness and an honest partnership.

These theories are not our own.
They came from such greats as
Tom Dorrance and Ray Hunt
and now a myriad of new generation
horsemen promote them.. Our belief is
The theories are practical and reliable when
used correctly.

Preparing a half Arabian for his Native Costume
debut.. this was his first time with the practice costume
and tassles. With a good foundation a horse does
trust and becomes willing. This gelding will be in
continued training and shown by CEC staff as well as
his 9 yr old owner.
We welcome all breeds for fundamental training. Our goal is a willing attitude;
quiet demeanor and trust. This good gelding is a Fresian X.  Ride #1.
Refreshing an aged broodmare with past riding history. She hadn't
been ridden for 9 years; had "bad ears" and was difficult to catch.
Our quiet techniques don't force a horse to perform and this mare is
a prime example of our program creating a willing attitude.
She already has a new home.
