The Porcelain D'Uccle from Belgium
is one of the most beautiful and desired breeds of bantam
chickens. Having no standard counterpart, this tiny little bird
is a true bantam.
One of the extremely unique and valuable features of this
breed is the presence of the LAVENDER GENE. which can be
used for several breeding programs …

The Porcelains are patterned the same way as the Mille Fleur,
but the base color is straw, and the barring lavender with a
white tip.

Porcelain D’Uccles have a sweet disposition and are a must
for the exhibitor.

Our Porcelains are from the Gabbard Farms breeding
program and are gorgeous!

As you can see, the d'UCCLE
comes in beautiful colors..
"The Chantecler is a breed of chicken
originating in Canada.

It was developed in the early 20th century, at
the Abbey of Notre-Dame du Lac in Oka,
Quebec. It is extremely cold-resistant, and is
suitable for both egg and meat production.

The Chantecler is a large chicken that lays
respectably well and is a good meat producer.
Roosters weigh around 9 pounds, and hens are
6.5-7.5 pounds .The breed possess yellow skin
and beaks, and lay brown eggs. With plumage
that lies tight against the body but has a good
deal of fluff, and an exceptionally small
cushion comb and wattles, the Chantecler is
one of the most cold hardy chickens. They are
gentle birds amenable to taming, but can be
temperamental in confinement
________________
All of our chickens are housed and free range
daily, weather permitting.
They are friendly and meet or exceed
breed standards.

The Mille Fleur color pattern, as shown here on our rooster
'Dracula'
consists of a base color of mahogany, with each feather marked
with a crescent shaped bar of black and tipped with a V-shaped
white spangle.

The true coloring does not usually appear
until the first adult molt.

In French, Mille Fleur means
"thousand flowers" and relates to the colorful feathering of
these chickens.
Mille Fleur D’Uccles have a sweet disposition and are a must for
the exhibitor or pet chicken owner.

Our Mille Fleurs were selected from breeders throughout the
United States.
