Riding instruction @ Crossroads

Students begin at Crossroads getting acquainted with a
horse partner and defining their riding goals.
We then can teach safe horse handling skills and set a
student on the course of success in horsemanship.

We emphasize the responsibility of owning a horse;
covering the horse's care, grooming,  blanketing and
feeding essentials. This allows first timers a glimpse at the
benefits the horse has to offer without the  purchase of a
horse.. like all investments, horses can be expensive and
we feel it's best to know the student's interest in this hobby
will hold-  before you buy your own animal.

Our instructors take a positive approach to horsemanship,

We have instructors who are available to coach equitation,
rail, performance, gymkhana and pleasure riders.

Ask one of our instructors for definitions of these if you don't
already know, everyone has

We have many riding students that show their horses.
As students advance, they can continue with our instructors
through a chosen discipline or, we are happy to help them
find another instructor to help them advance to the next
level of their horse career.

You will find our staff is always supportive and willing to
help you obtain your goals!

We strive to have a place for all levels of riders at our facility,
beginner to advanced, we welcome you and want you to
feel at home here.

Outside instructors are welcome to the use of our facility by
appointment. Visit our Calendar for Clinics and Private
Instruction schedules.

Unique from other facilities;
Our Students are often called to watch
and coach  with our instructors..
We find this is an important learning tool-
our students learn valuable
communication skills and
it builds their confidence.
